I had to think about that title for a minute. What in the world did that? Beavers? But would beavers make damage that high? Wow...
Actually, the reference is to the foot prints on the ice. Deer perhaps. The bark damage isn't from wildlife. Most likely it is from flooding or something else like disease. But now you have me wondering! ;-)
It's hard to see the deer foot prints because I'm viewing it on my laptop.I think it's the deer that's doing the damage. they do eat bark.
